If you're able to look past [the] flaws, or simply accept them, Blood Fest should certainly please a great many. Played right, it could become the party horror film of the year.

You have to follow the rules of horror films to escape the horror film, and while Blood Fest gets a little lost along the way, its love of the genre-and satire of it-will speak to the obsessives.
