The Omega Man
Description
It is the story that looks quite different, as it is an experimental vaccine, since Dr. Robert Neville is the only survivor of the end-of-the-world war he fought with biological weapons. During that very difficult period, the plague caused by the war killed anyone other than a few hundred mutilated persons who turned into completely different people. Things seem to get worse during the day, wandering around the empty city. At night, he resists crowds of bloodthirsty intruders who start at a dangerous stage.

Despite being baked in early '70s cheese, The Omega Man is easily the most entertaining film version of Richard Matheson's sci-fi novel, I Am LegendAugust 28, 2011
Unsatisfying sci-fi thriller, though it's not Charlton Heston's faultDecember 19, 2007
A breezy film about the death of mankind in a way that only the '70s could have provided.April 29, 2008
Sadly another film to file under 'not as good as the book.'December 10, 2007
Not bad, but far from a classic.

Peppered with some sharp, even amusing dialogue, the story temporarily shelves the heavy allegory and slips into good, slam-bang suspense. But it doesn't last.December 22, 2007
...not an awful film, just a remarkably dull one.January 26, 2006
Averagely competent exercise in comic strip sci-fi.April 29, 2008
Despite not having aged particularly well, the opening sections of this sci-fi allegory remain potent, although the rest of its apocalyptic storyline is decidedly leaden.October 23, 2004
The ghouls are a little too ridiculous to quite fulfill their function in the movie. They make all the wrong decisions, are incompetent and ill-coordinated.
